On Sept. 14, the Grammy-winning hitmaker Whitney Houston will sit down with Oprah Winfrey as The Queen of Talk will kick off the 24th season of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

The legendary vocalist will discuss her life over the last decade, and her new album, I Look to You, in stores Sept. 1. Winfrey called Houston’s guesting “the most anticipated music interview of the decade.”

“I’m a lot wiser now, certainly a lot older. Things mean a lot more to me,” Whitney recently said of her new album. “I have a 16-year-old daughter, which makes a lot of changes in a woman’s life. I think the songs themselves will speak to you when you hear them. And you’ll understand where I am and the changes I’ve gone through for the better.”
