Boys Over Flowers is no doubt the latest fad not only in Korea but in Philippines too! It has taken Philippines by storm after it debuted in ABS-CBN last May 11, 2009. Gu Jun Pyo’s character played by model turned actor Lee Min Ho has smitten Filipinas all over the continent.

The famous F4 series has ended in Korea already while it is still in its few episodes here in the Philippines. On the other hand, I’m pretty sure Filipinos will follow Lee Min Ho’s career now that he has got into our culture.

So what’s the latest for Lee Min Ho (Jun Pyo)? Remember that surgery that Lee Min Ho was supposed to have last April but then postponed due to the turn out of BOF which made him the newly crowned CF King? Well it did not push through as well in April due to his overwhelming endorsement commitments following his fame. His commitments included trotting some parts of the Globe including Australia for a fashion magazine, play volleyball in Thailand, be single in Australia, raise low ratings in Taiwan as well as train with to be a singer for a F4 special album .

So now it’s June! I’m pretty sure fans of Lee Min Ho will be delighted to know that his surgery (removing that iron rod in his right thigh and knee which he had 3 years ago after an accident) is finally done!

He checked into a Seoul hospital on the 5th and had the surgery without problems and complications. He is expected to remain in the hospital for the next 2 weeks as he makes his recovery. His Management reveals that they are indeed expecting a faster recovery since it is not a major one anyway. Well at least for a short while, his schedule is clear while he’s taking his much needed “break” in the hospital. And while he is “recovering” he is currently looking at scripts for movies and dramas as he decides on his next project.
